The Old Dairy was refurbished in Spring 2010 to acccomodate the growing number of groups requiring a warm, cosy and beautiful space.

Natural light pours through the windows which are now all double glazed and the large stained glassed window still stands tall as the feature of the room. Under-floor heating warms the oak tongue and groove for floor-based activity such as yoga or meditation.

The simplicity of the space lends itself to flexibility and can be set up with floor cushions and rugs or comfortable chairs and trestle tables. Create the right mood with a combination of traditional uplighters, contemporary sun-effect ones, pendant ceiling lights and coloured spotlights.

The room measures 17' x 34' and currently has a toilet and sink area off to the back. Hot drink making facilities and whiteboard in the room can be provided if required.

Conversion of an adjacent building during Autumn and Winter 2010 will compliment the Old Dairy with accommodation sleeping 8, living space, kitchen and bathrooms. Expected completion is Spring 2011.



The Old Dairy can be hired for day workshops or is inclusive with full-board stay at Ceridwen. It is also ideal for small events or functions including exhibtions, concerts and parties. The Ceridwen Centre also offers potential for tutors looking to run environment or countryside based courses.
